Minnesota Wire’s COVID-19 Practices

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we at Minnesota Wire are working around the clock to meet the needs of our medical industry customers. As a global manufacturer of medical products, Minnesota Wire is an essential link in the healthcare supply chain. We are working to get critical supplies into the hands of our medical supply customers quickly. We are ISO9001 and AS9100 certified. We have had stringent protocols and existing disaster-recovery plans in place for several years. Minnesota Wire continues to monitor and follow recommendations of CDC and other State Health Organizations.

Protecting the health and safety of our employees and their families is vital. Because we are part of a critical infrastructure industry, our employees are reporting to work daily in our manufacturing sites. To prevent the spread of COVID-19 and protect the safety of our frontline employees working at these sites, all facilities are thoroughly cleaned regularly. Additionally, we have implemented the work-site hygiene practices in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization guidelines.

All employees who are able to are working remotely from home.

All non-essential travel has been prohibited since March 16, 2020, and access to our facilities by visitors has been severely restricted. We have instituted policies that ensure that employees who are sick with or who have been exposed to COVID-19 can take time off.

As the COVID-19 pandemic evolves daily, we are closely monitoring developments and adapting our operations.
